Paul founded BitCense after 25+ years in traditional real estate, proptech, and property tokenization. He’s witnessed firsthand how the real estate industry is slow to adopt new technologies, often missing out on significant benefits from new technologies. Paul built BitCense to solve the obstacle of converting traditionally illiquid real estate assets into digital tokens by offering full-service, compliant tokenization infrastructure and help clients unlock value and future-proof their portfolios without needing to become technology experts. Paul is a U.S. Air Force combat veteran and holds a Bachelor’s in Organizational Leadership from Penn State University.
Joseph Joyce
Co-Founder & Chief Product Officer
Joe leads BitCense's product vision and strategy with his expertise in commercial real estate finance and emerging blockchain technologies. Having previously co-founded a real estate tokenization company, he brings firsthand experience building digital asset platforms from the ground up. His data-driven approach combines financial modeling, capital structuring, and asset analysis to create scalable solutions. Joe holds an M.S. in Financial Analysis from St. Mary's College and a BS in Finance and Financial Management Services from CSU Chico.
Michael Orlandi

Michael brings 15+ years of hands-on experience acquiring, developing, financing, and managing institutional-quality real estate across all major asset classes, and has delivered consistent returns as a seasoned investment director. Michael's deep market knowledge of commercial real estate drives BitCense's approach to tokenizing traditional real estate investments. Michael holds a Master's in Real Estate Development from Columbia University and a J.D. from Harvard University.
Shane Fleming
Chief Strategy Officer
Shane is a real estate strategist and startup founder with over 20 years of experience across commercial, residential, and proptech sectors. He founded FlemingRE, advising international clients including McDonald’s and Circle K on asset management and commercial leasing. Previously at JLL, he gained experience in corporate advisory and investment strategy. Shane later founded PropGen, an AI-focused proptech startup. At BitCense, he leads strategy, growth, and go-to-market planning, bridging emerging technologies with real-world adoption across Ireland and the US markets.
Delia Sabau
Head of Capital Structuring
Delia Sabau is a seasoned investment leader with 20+ years in institutional finance and hedge fund management. She began her career at Barclays Global Investors (now BlackRock), managing $1B+ in long-short equity strategies. At Menta Capital, she launched and ran global hedge funds for pensions, endowments, and foundations. As CIO at CKC Fund, she built momentum-driven crypto strategies, and as co-founder of Optima, she's making regulated, on-chain strategies accessible globally. At BitCense, Delia serves as Head of Capital Structuring and lead architect of the company's vaulting strategy.
